John Spargo founded the issue about child labor. He discovered that children were being put to work with little pay and worked in poor conditions affecting there health and education. Many of them did not go to school and had health issues. He wrote the book "The Bitter Cry of the Child" exposing all these issues.
His findings were successful because laws about child labor were put into place. Children could no longer work at such an early age and were not to be hired by any employer or else there would be consequences.
